Songs like Tranquilize ft. Not to mention a divine Abbey Road version of Sam's Town that will leave you breathless. Each of the other songs as incredible qualities as well. I have waited patiently for this album to be released. Youtube can show you their talent from Abbey Road, where Romeo and Juliet, amongst a few other tracks were recorded. For an American band, The Killers are simply amazing and energizing.
With Mr. Brightside being their first track I've witnessed on VH1 years ago, it is still a popular song amongst fans. I strongly recommend front row attendance at their shows to see Brandon's exciting performance supported by the rest of the guys.
It, and the other songs on this album, are eminently listenable and extremely enjoyable. All The Pretty Faces is a standout with a superb sound. I could go through all the tracks, but there are so many and they are all so good, that I don't think either of us really has the time for it!
I purchased this Cd after I listened to an interview by The Killers on youtube and of course I listened to the album as well. They are proud of their first album and they said it was very good. Some people refused to purchased it because they were too full of themselves. This is a very good Cd for a young band and if they say it, why not!! I enjoy listening to everyone of the songs.
Lou Reed and Brandon Flowers together is such a treat!! You will enjoy this album as well, add it to your collection, buy it now!! I love the Killers, have kept up with all of their albums. I love how this one sounds a little different from their other stuff.
A little more acoustic, a little more earthy and raw. At least one song is a cover, but really well-done. I actually bought this album twice, because the first time I bought it was only digital and the file got corrupted. One person found this helpful. IN the interests of full disclosure, this is the sole Killers album I own, so I am, by no means, an expert on their discography. However, with that aside, The Killers on this album do not disappoint. What separates the Killers from contemporaries such as the Bravery and Panic! While they evolved out of the Strokes' s guitar strut and a flyover approximation of that band's New York-centric sense of style, the Killers have since managed to move up the evolutionary ladder, developing actual tools and displaying the capacity for reason. Sam's Town , their second rung, predicted opposable thumbs and verbal language in the band's future.Jul 29, · Songs like Tranquilize (ft. Lou Reid), All the Pretty Faces, Sweet Talk, Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf, and Where the White boys dance not only have catchy tunes, but are VERY well written. Covers of Shadowplay, Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town, and Romeo & Juliet not only do the originals justice, but possibly better them/5().
